NPLM is National Parent Leadership Month
NPLM acknowledges the strengths of parents as leaders and recognizes the extraordinary courage and tenacity of parents who have reached out to make improvements in their families and communities.
Parents Anonymous® Inc. sets aside each February for a month-long focus on the leadership of parents, and to recognize them for their contributions. Many Parents Anonymous® affiliates hold events and recognition ceremonies, singling out their most outstanding parents. Parents Anonymous® of South Carolina, Inc. offers special NPLM recognition certificates to its affiliates as well as to other organizations state-wide to present to parent leader honorees.
Since 2004 Parents Anonymous® of South Carolina, Inc. has also presented the Parents Leading the Way Conference, "Celebrating Parents as Leaders" during the month of February. The event is open to all parents and professionals concerned with strengthening families. Watch this website for registration instructions.
In South Carolina less than one dollar a day......in fact, only 81˘...will serve an entire family in Parents Anonymous group for ONE YEAR.
81˘= $24.30 per month or only $292 a year to provide our services and help a family "along the way."
