Support, success and a brighter future for South Carolina Parents Anonymous helping families along the way.

National Parent Leadership Month

Local and State Organizations joined us to recognize over 200 Parent Leaders during National Parent Leadership Month last year.  We know there are even more Parent Leaders in South Carolina who can be recognized in 2011!

We're here to help you honor your Parent Leaders! Won't your organization or school participate?  Join us in the effort during February -- 2011's National Parent Leadership Month!

Who is a parent leader?  A parent leader is a role model and an advocate for children, families and communities. A parent leader may be a parent, grandparent, foster parent or other person who is a care giver of children and has assumed a leadership role.

How will we partner with you to celebrate National Parent Leadership® Month?   We will: provide an official recognition certificate for you to give parent leaders you name as honorees; promote National Parent Leadership® Month with press releases and other publicity about your honorees and parent recognition event you may hold in February and be a resource for your efforts to honor and recognize parent leaders.

How can you celebrate National Parent Leadership® Month?  You can recognize your parent leader honorees and present official National Parent Leadership® recognition certificates to them at a meeting already planned for the month of February, or hold a special event during the month such as a breakfast, a reception, recognition ceremony, pot-luck event, or banquet.

How are parent leader names submitted?  Print the submission form below or request a form by calling or emailing us. Then, submit your parent leader(s) names by email, fax, or mail to Parents Anonymous® of South Carolina, Inc. You must include the requested information for each parent and the required description (up to 25 words) of why you are submitting him/her for recognition! Once we receive the completed form, we will send you the official recognition certificate.

When should you submit the names of parent leaders?  Names of parent leaders are solicited between January 15th and the end of February (National Parent Leadership Month) each year. All recognition certificates should be presented no later than February 28th during National Parent Leadership Month.

We look forward to working with you this year!
